XANDER'S Background

I'm Xander (he/him) I’m a provisional psychologist dedicated to providing compassionate, non-judgmental, and trauma-informed care, with a focus on improving outcomes for neurodivergent individuals and the LGBTQIA+ community. As a Queer person myself, I understand how difficult it can be to find quality, affirming care, and my goal is to create a space where Queer and neurodivergent individuals can authentically express and explore themselves without fear of judgment.

In my practice, I take a collaborative, person-centered, and evidence-based approach to address a wide range of concerns, including gender and sexual identity, kink and sexuality, gender dysphoria, mood disorders, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, substance use, ADHD, navigating stigma, interpersonal difficulties, grief, adjustment to life changes and changes in ability, and trauma.

Social justice and socially responsible practice are also central to my values as a mental health provider. That’s why I remain committed to advocacy work and to fostering change both within my practice and in the broader community.

Throughout my career, I’ve witnessed the incredible adaptability, resilience, and strength of people. I’ve seen individuals courageously face life’s challenges and overcome them. My goal is to empower neurodivergent and LGBTQIA+ individuals to face those challenges head-on and continue living life to the fullest.
